Osage County Jail Roster Overview
The official Osage County current-inmates roster is run through the Osage County Sheriff's Office. It covers people in the Osage County Jail, including adults arrested by sheriff's deputies, municipal police agencies, and other agencies that lodge local detainees in Pawhuska. The public list is current-custody focused. Research captured a live roster count on June 25, 2026, but that count is a snapshot, not a rated capacity or an average daily population.
Each public entry is a compact jail record rather than a full booking file. The roster showed booking photos, uppercase names, booking date and time, a city or "from" field, charge summaries, and a VINELink link. It did not show bond, housing unit, birth date, physical description, arresting agency, or court date in the captured list. Longer charge lists may be shortened with "AND MORE...", so court portals and the booking desk matter when the visible record is not enough.
The roster is not the right tool for every custody question. Sentenced Oklahoma prisoners are searched through the Oklahoma Department of Corrections offender lookup. Federal inmates are searched through the BOP inmate locator. Immigration custody uses the ICE detainee locator. Oklahoma VINE helps with custody notifications, and older Osage County booking files go through the Sheriff's Office records process.

Use the Osage County Jail Roster
The roster has one public filter box rather than a multi-field database. That is useful when the exact spelling is uncertain, because a search can start with a last name and then move to a charge phrase, city name, or date. It also means the user must read visible entries carefully. A broad search can return people with similar names or people booked from the same city. The roster does not replace a call to booking when release, bond, or a hold is the key issue.
- Open the Sheriff's current-inmates roster and read the current custody count and date at the top of the list.
- Start with the last name. If too many Osage County jail records appear, add the first name or middle name when visible.
- Try other visible terms if the name search fails. The roster instruction allows dates in MM/DD/YY format, charges, and city names.
- Review the entry for booking time, "From" city, charge text, mugshot, and the VINELink custody notification link.
- Use OSCN, ODCR, the booking desk, or a records request if the charge list is truncated or if the person is no longer listed.
Do not treat a missing roster result as proof that no arrest occurred. A person may have bonded out, been moved to another Oklahoma county, been transferred to ODOC after sentencing, been held in a federal or immigration system, or not yet appeared in the public list. The practical fallback chain is roster, booking phone, court search, records request, ODOC, BOP, ICE, and Oklahoma VINE.
Osage County Roster Search Fields
The Osage County jail roster search is simple. The captured page did not show release tabs, advanced filters, account login, paid access, or export tools. It displayed a single text box that filters the current list. The field should be used with terms likely to appear in a public entry, not with private data such as a full address or Social Security number.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type anything: names, dates (MM/DD/YY), charges, city names etc. | Text/filter | Optional or unspecified | Use a last name, full or partial name, booking date, charge word, or city that may be visible in the entry. |
| VINELink | Outbound link per inmate | Not applicable | Each visible entry had a custody notification link for Oklahoma VINE follow-up. |
| Search | Site navigation search | Optional | This is separate from the roster filter and should not be confused with the jail list. |
Osage County also publishes a separate active warrant search, but that tool is not a jail roster. It is for active Osage County District Court warrants and requires at least the first three letters of a last name.
Osage County Inmate Record Fields
A public Osage County inmate record gives first-level booking facts. It does not give every jail, medical, investigative, or court detail. The roster is useful for confirming current custody and for gathering the information needed to call booking or search a court case. It is less useful for bond, hearing dates, older release history, or full arrest reports.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Full name in uppercase, often with a middle name or initial. |
| Mugshot | Booking photo shown beside the entry when available. |
| Booked | Booking date and time in month/day/year and time format. |
| From | City and state field. It should not be treated as a verified home address. |
| Charges | Plain-text charge list. Some entries may be shortened with "AND MORE..." after several charges. |
| VINELink | Link to Oklahoma VINE for custody status and notification follow-up. |
| Not shown | Booking number, DOB, bond, housing unit, arresting agency, court date, and release status were not visible in the captured roster list. |
County roster vs. court file: A booking charge is the jail intake reason. The District Attorney may later file different charges in Osage County District Court.
Older Osage County Booking Records
Released people and older booking records are not the strength of the current-inmates roster. The official page did not show a release archive, daily booking report, or historical mugshot database in the captured public view. For booking records, incident reports, mugshots not shown online, or older material, the correct local channel is the Osage County Sheriff's Office Records Division and the OCSO open-records request form.
The Sheriff's form cites the Oklahoma Open Records Act and asks requesters to be specific. Useful details include full name, approximate arrest or booking date, case number if known, property or address information, arresting agency, and the exact record requested. OCSO charges 25 cents per standard copy page, one dollar per certified page, actual cost for other media, 25 dollars per hour for commercial or highly disruptive requests, 80 dollars per hour for custom computer work, and 85 dollars per hour when extra legal support is required. Payment must be by money order payable to OCSO before records are released, and OCSO states it does not fax or email reports to non-government agencies.

Osage County Custody Lookup Paths
Osage County has both a county jail and a state prison in the county, which makes custody searches easy to mix up. The Osage County Jail is the local booking facility for current jail custody. Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy is an Oklahoma Department of Corrections prison for sentenced adult men. A person usually reaches the state prison system after conviction, sentencing, and ODOC classification. New county arrests should not be searched through the prison page first.
| Custody Type | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Pretrial or local jail sentence | Osage County current-inmates roster | People now held in the Osage County Jail. |
| Sentenced state prisoner | ODOC offender lookup | Oklahoma state custody, including Dick Conner Correctional Center when assigned there. |
| Federal inmate | BOP inmate locator | Federal inmates from 1982 to present, not county booking photos. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator System | Immigration custody by A-number or biographical search, separate from county criminal booking. |
| Custody notification | Oklahoma VINE | Notifications and status follow-up. Osage roster entries link to VINE. |
No official Osage-specific sheriff app was located in the research. City Tele Coin has an app for jail phone, video, and email after account setup. JPay has an app for ODOC deposits, but that applies to state prisoners, not county jail deposits.
Osage County Jail Facilities
Two facilities shape Osage County inmate records. The first is the county jail in Pawhuska, run by the Sheriff's Office. The second is Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, run by ODOC. The two facilities serve different populations, use different lookup systems, and have different visit and money rules.

Osage County Booking Process
Osage County does not publish a detailed booking-process manual, so the public facts come from the roster, jail service pages, and Oklahoma practice. The local path usually runs from arrest by a deputy or city police officer to transport, identity check, search, property inventory, fingerprints, booking photo, charge or hold entry, medical or mental-health screening, classification, and housing. Classification is the jail decision about safety and housing needs. A detainer or hold means another agency may have a claim on the person even if local bond is set.
After staff enter the booking into the public roster, the person may appear with a photo, booking time, city or from location, charges, and VINELink. The page does not state the update interval, so it should not be treated as real-time. Court movement begins separately. The jail roster shows booking charges or holds. The District Attorney decides what charges to file, and those court records appear through OSCN or ODCR after filing.
Osage County Jail Visit Rules
The official inmate services page says Osage County Jail visits at the facility are electronic video conferences. Visits are subject to time, space, meals, lockdowns, and staff availability. Adults need state-issued photo identification. Visitors age 17 or younger must be with an adult who has state-issued photo ID. The jail performs records and warrant checks on each visitor, and all visitors are subject to search.
| Facility | Days | Hours | Format | Rules |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Osage County Jail | Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays | 9:00 am to 3:00 pm | Electronic video conference at the facility | One facility visit every seven days per inmate, 25 minutes, ID required, search and warrant checks apply. |
| Dick Conner Correctional Center | Varies by ODOC schedule | Must be scheduled | State prison visitation | Application, background checks, approval, and scheduling are required. No walk-ins. |

Contact and Money for Osage County Inmates
For detention-specific questions, OCSO lists booking at (918) 287-4295. The Sheriff's main and records number is (918) 287-3535, and non-emergency dispatch is (918) 287-3131. The office and jail campus address is 900 Saint Paul Ave, Pawhuska, OK 74056. People with outstanding Osage County warrants can surrender at that address at any time, according to the official warrant page.
Phone, video chat, and email service are handled through City Tele Coin after account setup. Commissary deposits and web orders are linked by OCSO through JailATM and Benchmark Government Solutions. For mail and messaging, the Sheriff's July 15, 2026 update directs ordinary mail, documents, and photos to the NCIC messaging and scanned-mail system, with legal and medical mail still sent to the jail. The Longview processing path requires the inmate name, SO number, Osage County Jail, PO Box 591, Longview, TX 75606.
Note: Confirm custody with booking before sending money, setting a visit, or mailing documents, because releases and transfers can change quickly.
